I don't know if this is more of a bug or a feature request, but since the only change I made was the amount of monitors, I'm sticking it under bugs.

I had two monitors rotated to portrait and wanted a way to make VLC take up the full width of the screen (maximize horizontally). I found that the snap to corners or half the screen worked out really well for my needs and couldn't imagine what I'd do without it.I even went so far as to write a shell script to mimic these features in Ubuntu.

I had a few extra monitors laying around, so I decided to hook them up to my computer and now have four monitors in portrait.

I've tried to use the snap to top/bottom half of screen, but it none of the snapping works anymore. I'm not sure if it would be an easy fix or if it's a pain. I'm sure there aren't too many people out there with four monitors, but I'd appreciate an update.

Not sure if it will matter, but my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate N

Hi pyriccrash,

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you. All features are pretty ad-hoc once you have more than two monitors, as I can't test and develop them having only two screens, a laptop panel and an external monitor, so I can't take responsibility for developing for 3 or more monitors.

Sorry for that mate. Hope you can use the rest of the features.

I wasn't sure if you did the programming for one monitor and it happens to work in a two monitor set up, or if there is programming specifically for a two monitor setup. If it is the former, then in theory, it should work. If it's the latter, then I wonder if you have the source code publicly available and if I can take a look at it to see if I can figure something out.

I wish anything "happened to work on two monitors". It was blood sweat and tears. :)
